“Our guide "JOSE" provided us with a day to remember in Mazatlan. What a perfect, informative, kind and pleasant man. The entire day from small villages to The 🔵 Blue Agave farm to lunch in La Noria far exceeded our expectations. A day to remember. 2.Horseback riding & Temazcal combo with lunch and mezcal tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 107 reviews · 4 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $180

Ride through agave fields and along the beach, take part in a temazcal ceremony, then sit down to lunch and sample six flavored mezcals. Pickup is available from Mazatlan hotels, apartments, or the cruise port. Confirm the exact itinerary before booking, since some tour details describe ziplining instead.

“Ziplining was fun, and the meal provided afterward was delicious. There were 10 in our party ages 7-adult, everyone had a great time. A word of warning: they oil the zipline cables occasionally for maintenance, well, I guess they had oiled them recently because little flecks of oil got on our clothes and faces. It did not dampen our enjoyment, but wear older clothes in case you get oil flecks on them.”

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 40 reviews · 4 hours 30 minutes (approx.) · from $180

Ride an ATV through agave fields, jungle trails, beach and across a wooden bridge, then enjoy handmade tortillas, burritos and flambéed cheese. A shaman leads a clay mud bath and temazcal ceremony before you visit a mezcal factory. Hotel and port pickup is offered in English.

“The trip down the river was beautiful. The meal was scrumptious and plentiful. The drive from Mazatlan to the starting point was much longer than I realized; this was the reason for a 4 instead of a 5. Daniel (the river guide) and Xavier (the driver from the restaurant to the launching area) were both terrific - helpful and affable!”
